Common Core Curriculum Information: This short You Tube video was shared by teachers at curriculum night and gives a great overview.  This is a link from the national PTA website with lots of Common Core information for parents.  Please contact your child's teacher if you have more information about the Common Core and what it means for your child. You are an essential part of our education team. Thank you for your support!

Health Insurance for Children: Does your child need health insurance?  Your child may qualify for free or low-cost insurance programs in North Carolina called Health Check and NC Health Choice.  They offer a wide range of benefits, including vision and dental coverage.  To check income guidelines or get an application, go to: http://www.nchealthystart.org/public/childhealth/index.htm.

Registering for E-Alerts from our Webpages: Parent Registration Letter with Directions This file links to a letter with directions to subscribe to whatever areas of our webpage, and other district webpages, that are of interest to you. When the pages you subscribe to are updated, the editors (teachers or district staff) can tell the system to automatically send you an email letting you know. There are many valuable resources available through our school website, so we hope you will take advantage of this awesome communication tool.

The above files are PDF files. If you don't already have Adobe Reader, please click this link to download the program. Remember to remove the check mark if you do not want the Google Toolbar, or whatever other program it "suggests" you install with Adobe Reader.
